Quick DS3 question for owners

I just put together a nice little E6300+DS3 combo that wortks and overclocks like a dream. However, everytime I boot the system the video card fan and HSF fan spin up, then it seems to stop completely for about a second then resume spinning. I'm not too worried about it really but is this normal? Thanks for your help!
