what is best between: Ultima 90, Noctua u12p, Aerocool aeroflow 120, ZalmanCNPS9500 LED, COOLER MASTER GeminII, and COOLER MASTER 92mm Hyper TX2? i kind of want a vertical fan to keep the constant air flow front to back, but the idea of the geminII also cooling my ram seems kind of nice. i cant find any good comprehensive hsf comparisons, so opinions or a link to a good comparison would be much appreciated.
 
Between those ... probably the Ultima 90 or the Noctua. The Ultima is the best of the "compact" vertical heatsinks.
 
Can you find a ocz vendetta 2 or xigmatek hdt heatsinks?
 
If your going to spend the money on a Noctua U12P, why not just get a TRUE? The U12P is 60 bucks and you can get the TRUE for 50, which leaves 10 for another fan, or you could just grab the xigmatek S1283.
 
well those were what i got a used offer from in a WTB thread. but i think i want better than any of those. im looking at the xig s-1283 and a core contact freezer. theyre around $35 instead of $60 or so.
 
For a $30 budget, look no further than the Xigmatek S1283 which is $37 with a $10 rebate.

For the $50 price range, it has to be the TRUE 120.
