Quick cpu cooler advice pls :)

Greetings, just registered at the forum after many months of using the site as a source of information.
I'm buying a new cooler for my PhenomII X6 1090T and i came across a great deal on a Noctua NH-U12P SE2. I was wondering if it is a solid cooler that can handle my cpu temps, i don't push my overclocking to the limit, the cpu is currently working at 3.7Ghz and it's stable and enough for me.
Any input about the cooler is appreciated

Well, found it at a local store at 40€ and knowing Noctua products i was curious. So since i can spare 40€ with no problem ill do it if it can handle it.

Im sure you can get one for cheaper that works better if you wanted to but if you want it grab it.

I would just go ahead and get it, its cheaper than buying a Hyper 212 and 2 noucta fans, 2 are included and they are expensive fans.

mannyman is from texas. hard to really say what you can get for what price when youre 10000 miles away amirite? yeah its a good cooler and if its in your budget then go for it. although personally i can never decide if i think noctua fans look really awesome or really ugly. usually im on the side of ugly.

Yeah thats what i was thinking so i said just go with it, Im not sure if he had a microcenter or something of the like nearby. and yes noctua stuff is ugle, but who said ugly cant be cool?

I actually like the Noctua color scheme and design, guess there are nuts for everything heh

heh, different strokes for different folks. yeah mannyman, computers components are way more expensive in europe, and besides that i dont even know what a euro is worth any more. probably about 5 bucks by now!

no idea. my norwegian relatives always buy like cameras and ipods and stuff when they come to visit since theyre so much cheaper here. i think norway is worse than most countries though. just looking at that cooler, 40 euros is about $60. and that cooler costs about $60 normally here according to google shopping. so maybe its not too much different, but he did say it was a "great deal" so maybe its normally more?

Yes, normally the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 is around 15€ more than that here, and by here i mean a store that has some nice prices. Well, at least here in Portugal
