quick BF42 server ?

here's a setup.

P3 1ghz CPU
512mb RAM

is this enough for a 32 player LAN Dedicated server? or do I need more?
 
Would probably be laggy. I would have at least 1GB and a 1.5GHz+. The OS will be taking 256MB just for itself and a few of those clock cycles.

My game system has servered as a f1942 - DC server.
P4 3GHz
Asus P4C800 mobo
2GB PC-3200 in dual chanel mode

I was able to host a 64 player server and play it at the same time. with single digit or teens pings
 
Definitely not enough, especially for a 32 player server. BF1942 is one of the more resource intensive games to pick. You're going to want a high end server with lots of memory and at least a t1 line for a 32 player server.
 
I have a T1 line at the apartment; I'll definitely be using it.
 
on another note.. i'm at a lan with a t1.. i have the 1.2ghz bird running 2 16 player servers.. thou right now with no load.. *everyones still not here, i'm here early to help setup*
