I'm currently running a GeForce4 Ti 4200 on my Pentium 4 2.53GHz Intel Processor. I feel that it's about time to upgrade my video card and have been leaning towards the Radeon X800 Pro. My question is, will my processor bottleneck the card? I've read some reviews that claim that it will where others say that anything faster than a 2 GHz processor shouldn't have a problem. Can anyone offer any clarification on this matter?

yes you will be bottlenecked against say something running much faster, say like mine at 3.9ghz.

will it make your system much better to game with ..yes..you will be able to run at 1024 to 1280 resolution with full eyecandy and aa/af settings..

get a mobile barton up to 2.6ghz and you'll be fine now all I need is a x800 also!

You might be bottlenecked, but you will see a massive difference over your older card, the x800pro is worth getting for you ;)
