Ok guys money is waiting for a new setup but i should probably hold off a few more weeks right? This will be my first intel build and im really excited, Need CPU/MOBO/RAM , not to mention OCing a intel setup will be new to me as well :) Budget for CPU/MOBO/RAM/Vid Card/Cooling is $2K i have everything else.

Sorry Just Gaming, I realize that the smartest thing is to wait for some game reviews on Crysis or maybe UT3 in the future, I was just wondering how soon the new Cpus are coming out.

IF you've got $1k to burn you should be able to get a 45nm quad core next month. Sanely priced ones will be available in early 08.

You should get a Q6600 "G0" for now with a 8800gts 640MB and a P35 chipset motherboard . If you want to go for SLI, then go for EVGA 680i motherboard.

Gonna search out when the 780i mobos are coming out, maybe i should wait until they come out.

What size monitor do you have? This will help recommend a vidcard.

If you can wait, wait until early next year (yorkfield, eaglelake, new nvidia cards, etc). If not, Q6600 is your best choice with a P35 board if you don't need a dual graphics card config.

Im currently using a Westhinghouse 37in 1080P, So im using 1920X1200 res, I have 1 8800GTX card and i am waiting to see what new cards are coming out or possibly adding a 2nd card for sli. I wont buy another card until i see where the chips fall in november.
