This may be a trivial question on separating two 120gb ATA drives in Raid 0, but, is there anything I need to worry about when separating the two? Is there a proper procedure?

I was just planning on migrating all the data onto a single 300 gb hd, and then simply splitting the two drives. Is there anythign else I need to worry about in terms of reformatting the 120gb drives?

It's always best to make sure you eliminate the array with the erase procedure in the RAID BIOS before reformantting.

Alternatively, you could probably zero out the first few mbytes/gbytes of the disk assuming the BIOS doesn't store anything internally. Then you could just reformat over that and it should be peachy.
