I have a new 64 bit machine (Specs below)
I went thru 2 power supplies , first one was a powmax 420 and the second one was a Zalman 400.
with both PSU's the system ran fine for a day or so then just shuit it self off and wouldn't restart. It would post for about 10 seconds then shut itself down 1 or 2 times but then after that it would do nothing, absolutely nothing happens when I push the power button.
What I am wondering is do PSU's have a fuse or something that will short out if something is wrong? I am just trying to figure out why I keep going thru powe supplies.
Thanks in advance
