• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Question on backing up data.

OK so soon i'll be 0ing out my HD and was wondering about passwords. Now I'm really concerned about my ubisoft password that I have for Farcry, man I don't think that I remeber it at all and one thing i would like not to happen( cause i registered my copy)is to get locked out from my own account. Where can I find the passwords and all that stuff in my HD, I mean do I go to My computer, C drive, Program Files, and Farcry folder or what? Thx

I don't have Farcry and don't know what they do with their passwords, but considering that the game is recent, I would assume it isn't all that easy to find, let alone decrypt. If they have an option to have your password emailed to you, that would be your best bet... Or you could use the good old guess and check method unless their system blocks addresses after a certain number of failed attempts. Aren't anti-piracy systems just the greatest? Good luck though.

I lost a password for a game because of an HD crash recently, and I got it back after talking to one of the people involved with running the game until I was able to prove that I was who I said I was. Chances are you won't be able to directly talk to any of the people with access to the passwords though. It nothing else works it could be worth a try.

If it is a password you chose, not randomly assigned, you can probably guess it eventually, or they may have even sent it to you in an email at some point in time.
