Sirs,
I would like to ask a question about posting a link to a free program I wrote. Specifically, would it be considered spamming? The project is hosted on another forum for developers (I will provide the link should any mod inquire).
The program is a taskbar hider for Windows 7. I realize there are already a few of those but I naturally feel my program is superior. I want to post it here in the [H] because a significant percentage of people who have downloaded it are users running multi-monitor setups. And where better to find hardcore display setups than here?
I understand that in light of the recent heartbleed fiasco my request may seem a bit suspicious given that this account is new. If it helps, I am a long time reader of the site and used to be a member of the forums probably as "nilness", I think. I was more of a lurker back then although I did have at least one post where I entered a Halloween banner contest by Kyle. Unfortunately, either I am misremembering my original login or it was tied to my now defunct first isp email account so I had to create a new account here.
