I bought a OEM copy of Vista Home Premium 32bit off the egg some time ago, installed it on one machine, then upgraded and put it on that one. I had to call CS and after a few questions they gave me the code for the install. All was well in Vistaland. As well as Vistaland gets anyway.
I then ordered the 64 bit upgrade disk from MS for $10. I did an install with no prompt to call CS and it did just fine.
I should be recieving my free copy of ultimate soon and want to install it into my current rig that is running the Vista Home Prem 64bit.
Heres the question.
Is the OEM copy of Home premium in 64bit tied to the machine I have it installed in? Can I put in what would be a third machine without a hassle? Wondering if anyone has run into this yet. Would there be harm in trying?
