Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
ok, Im using SP-94 and I had to remove the plastic cpu retentation thing. I was thinking of getting a watercooling kit since im a noob at building my own.
So which water kit doesnt make use of then plastic retention thingy? thanks
I actually can't think of any blocks off of the top of my head that use that plastic retention thing. But, I also don't know about a lot of the pre-assembled kits out there like koolance, etc. Those might.
You shouldn't need that for any Danger Den, Swiftech, DTek, or any other high end block really.
this is what i'm running right now:
5:4
2.8e-3.3ghz stock hsf stock volts
ai7 with gameacceleration-speed racer
ocz pc4000[default is 2.5.4.4.7 i think] at 2.3.3.6 with 2.6 volts
all of this runs STABLE, but i do get an error on prime95 after a few minutes.
Will better timings , 1:1 and a 3.2hz speed be better than what i'm doing right now?
any help is appreciated.
