around christmas time i purchased a samsung 160 gig ide ultra 7200 rpm drive. it worked fine for a while, but as of about two weeks ago it's been doing some wierd things. somtimes (mainly when my computer boots) it makes noises, which doesn't bother me. but today it started clicking when my computer was starting. is this normal, or should i do something about it?

It's dying. Get the data off the drive immediately and get it in to your VAR for replacement.
