Question about 4K resolution

I'm hoping to get this TV soon:

The Sony KD55X8504A, as Sony just released an update to their current 4K TV that supports HDMI 2.0 which means 60Hz support for 4K resolutions. However, I'm aware there are no GPU's that support HDMI 2.0 as of yet, however, I heard DP 1.2 supports 60Hz. If I use a DP to HDMI cable, will I be able to achieve 60Hz at 3840x2160 or will I still be limited to 30Hz if someone has tried it?
 
If a video card doesn't support HDMI 2.0, there is no way in hell that it supports conversion from DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0.
