So I bought a Vizio Gallevia GV47LF (it's a 47"). I was talking to a friend at work and he started talking about the pixel pitch and all that, so i checked up on that and I saw something else that worried me:
Native Panel Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Supported PC Resolutions
1366 x 768, 1280 x 720, 1024 x 768, 854 x 480, 800 x 600

I got confused when I saw this, so i decided to ask, When I plug a computer into it (my current POS dosn't even have DVI) will I be able to display it at 1920x1080? I plan on running DVI->HDMI once i build me new computer. I'm pretty sure it will display it, but not 100%, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

*I bought it from Costco, so I can return it anytime, was gonna buy the 42w2 for awhile till I saw this on sale at costco.

You could try to force a 1080p display output through vga... they have limit the bandwidth through vga input (many 1080p lcd tv limit their vga input to below that of native res). If nothing will display you could try to set to reduce blanking at the 1080p res. vga output (works on some displays .. like the sony bravia V2500 series).

When they say "supported PC resolutions" they mean that besides the native resolution, if you have a PC you can also output those other resolutions and the panel will display them, albeit with scaling. The native resolution is always best, but the others will also work.
