Hi. My question is, what are the requirements for a TV to be 3D capable? Is there a minimum refresh rate like 120Hz? What else are the requirements only for the TV to be able to do it.

yes min refresh rate 120 HZ and i would consider reading the spec detail, 240 Hz refresh rate doesn't mean it will be 3D tv, but 120 Hz refresh with 3d capabality can be a 3d TV

So what is 3D capability? You said 120Hz plus 3D capability is a 3D TV.

So does that mean TVs with 120Hz or more refresh rates don't automatically support 3D? What else are the reqs? Sorry I'm really confused.

Most TV's with 120hz refresh rate dont take input higher than 60hz, they rather add frames and output 120hz... hence they cannot do 3D since it needs 120hz input

yes for it to be 3d it needs both 120 hz and 3d capabality, however like Brownstone said, the input needs to be least 120HZ which i will say are only acceptable in 3d capable TV, however i did ask the same quesiton in here before (can't find the thread atm) and i got answer that 3D capable TV doesn't necessary have input (DVI/VGA) for computer which will take 120 Hz picture to TV so you might not get that while connected to TV.
