I have noticed that some Socket 478 processors have a letter at the end of the name of the processor. This is really bugging me because I don't know which one performs better or if there is even a difference! One would say Pentium 4 3.2 E while another would say Pentium 4 3.2 C !!! What does that mean? They are both (I believe) prescott, and are both 478 socket with 800 FSB and 3.2 ghz operating frequency. Can anyone help? I was going to buy the low priced one from newegg (3.2 E) for $214 but saw the 3.2C at a relatively close price.
Thanks for you help!
