A coworker built a Qpack and I told him to get a different PSU. Well, he didn't and now he's getting a random reboot. The system has an Asus A8N-VM CSM mobo, 3200+ Venice, 2x512 ram, no overclocking.
The Asus Probe utility flashes warnings that the 12v is running at 13.2 +/- .05v.
I went into the BIOS and it gave the following:
Vcore = 1.48v +/- .02v (AMD's website says it should be 1.35-1.40v)
3.3v = 3.45v +/- .02v
5v = 5.3v +/- .01v
12v = 13.10v +/- .05v
I assume this PSU is crap, can anyone confirm that this is the most likely cause of the random reboot? My coworker is wanting to send back the mobo, but I think the PSU is the root of all the issues.
