If i have a Q6600 with three VM clients running SMP, how many work units can I expect per day or week? The Q6600 would be paired with 2GB of DDR2 Ram as well.

Running 3 VM will give you more trouble than benefits. The sweet spot is 2 VM ;)

3 is too many, Some of the WU you get will not finish on time even if it's OC-ed to 3.6.
2gb of RAM is the MINIMUM to run on a Q6600 running 2x clients on a diskless system
For VM's I'd say 4GB is a safer bet.

You don't have enough CPU power or RAM to run 3.

On 2x clients you can (and I do) pull ~4k on a Q6600 With a good OC and plenty of RAM, this is also on easy WU. There are some that are "chewy" that take longer and hurt ppd, but they still need done.

 
Best is only 2 VM's.
Above that number you start to saturate the memory bus so they dont fold faster.

Also depends on overclock and protien.
Quick protiens are around 330 PpDpGhz. 25 hours @2.4Ghz, 20 hours @3.1Ghz.
Slow protiens are around 200-250 PpDpGhz.
