putting memtest 86 onto CD and booting..

I noticed on memtest86 website that you can download the iso image so you can boot from a cd instead of the floppy in order to run memtest.... I have a cd burner.. can someone explain this to me? I just put the iso file onto a cd and then boot from the drive? there's 2 different ISO files I can download from the site.. I dont know which to get..
 
You want to use the ISO to burn a boot disc, open it up with Nero or Alcohol 120%, or your favorite program to burn with. Once you open it up with whichever program it should automatically have everything setup for you, just hit burn to disc after. You want the first ISO (zip not gzip).
 
I'm confused... what do you mean open it up? When I open up the zip file all I see is the ISO file, and I dont have a program to view ISO's. I have NTI CD-Maker 2000, should I get Nero?
