Ok i just ordered the dell 2001fp and i would like some opinions from people who own it.First off the only problem i hear people complain about is the screen door effect. So how far from the screen is your face?I have a liquidvideo 17' and its a good monitor to my eyes, and was pretty cheap, but even if i put my face two inches from the screen i can barely notice the lines. And normally my face is about 1 1/2 feet - 2 feet away.So would i notices the lines on the 2001fp?Other than that is there any other problems you dont lime about the monitor?

The monitor rules all. The screen door effect is noticable for me sometimes but not in a bad way... more in a wow that is damn crisp kinda way. You can search for the million+ comments on this monitor or just take my word that you will be very happy.

edit: no one has really talked about this, but I do believe that the screen door effect is a result of the very wide viewing angle of this monitor (slight seperation of the pixels or something)

Yeah i have a feeling i will be happy with it,but i still would like to know about how close from the screen do people notice the screen door effect.Like i said above im using a fairly cheapo monitor and i can barely notice screen door effect with my face two inches from the screen.Unless this liquid video lcd has a really good panel, then i doubt i will even see the screen dorr effect on the 2001fp.
