Hey all, I have 2 loops in my machine and I have had 2 mcp355 pumps die on me so far with the xspc res top. The CPU loop also has an xspc top but has been working correctly since I got it.
The first pump I dropped on accident so thought it died from that but then about a week ago the replacement pump took a dive. No leaks but both times the water has dropped to half of what was in the top. And each time the pumps burn out/melted at the bottom. I have read that the tops aren't always a perfect circle but I am concerned that the top is causing the damage. Or my loop is poorly thought up and the stress is causing these failures. The loop is for the GPU and it maintained normal temps around 35-40C. I really don't know what to do here and I would be grateful for advice.
