PSU Upgrad / Future Proofing.

First off My current system (not that it matters much)
Antech Neo Power 480
Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850
EVGA 7800GTX KO
I have a water cooling loop that is run by a Laing DDC 3.2 pump.

I plan to do a system upgrade in stages starting with PSU and Video Card. I plan on going to a i7 system that I do plan to over clock the CPU and GPU/s.

I'm currently leaning towards a GTX280 or 295 and then when I do the rest of the upgrade adding the 2nd and/or 3rd card.

So what I need is a PSU that is capable of handling all of this.

What I think I want / need is a Enermax Revolution but I cant find when it will be available.

All input and suggestions Welcome
 
If you plan on overclocking as well, then I recommend a 1000W PSU for the sake of having a little headroom, especially if you go with a three-card setup. The Corsair HX1000 is a great 1kW unit. I wasn't aware that the Antec Signature Series came in 1000w. I was considering the corsair HX1000 but i became concerned about the 40amp 12v Rails on a Tri card Setup.

Why would that be a concern? That's 480W per rail, which is a ton of power.
 
The problem is that Rail 1 hosts 2 8pin and 2 6pin PCIE connectors I found this place that said a gtx280 Idle = 184 Watt and 100% usage (wattage gaming Peak) = 363 Watt so this posses a problem with 2 cards on a single rail especially when overclocking/ load testing. Maybe I'm just paranoid...
 
That number was for the entire computer, not just the video card itself. Also, they test that wattage from the wall, so once you factor in PSU efficiency, the actual number is more like 290W for the whole system.
 
Thanks for the input I think I'll get the corsair 1000hx... I just needed to be sure that it could handle things ok.
