PSU troubles

I recently bought and installed an Antec 430W True Power PSU. I've bought all new components, installed it with all the new ones, and reformatted my computer. Since then it's been giving me trouble restarting (ie my computer wont boot up), and upon my most recent restart the computer will not come on at all. The only thing that happens is that the front LED flashes on and off on my tower. Is it possible that I've blown my psu already only after 5 days of use? Or is there something you suggest i do?
Thanks,
PhishingJimi

system specs
AMD 3500+ (venice)
2X 512 MB corsair xms (non-LL)
Seagate 160 GB SATA
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
Antec 430W True Power

if it helps at all the only usage it had, was with a reformat and then 3 days of use. total game time did not exceed 2 hrs. other than that, all other usage time was only for instant messaging and loading backed up info back onto the computer. pleeeaasee can someone help me, i dont know what is wrong, or if i need to replace hardware.

Reseat all the connections....and make sure the connection for the internal fan is hooked up. Its a possibility that you got a dud powersupply.

Did it ever work correctly?

all the connections are made correctly, and it was working for about 3 days. the mobo, processor, hard drive, and power supply are all new. and i installed doubled checked the connections, and formatted the drive. First thing it did would be freezing before the BIOS started up in a reboot. And currently I tried a reboot about a day ago, and I havent been able to get the computer to boot up again. The only sign of any activity is the status LED below the power button slowly flashes, but nothing else turns on.

if you unplug the powersupply for a minute, then plug it back in, will it boot?

Nothing works, i tried resetting the CMOS jumper and reconnecting all cables and still the same slow flashing. Im almost certain the PSU has crapped itself. Any suggestions for a new one (replace it with the same one or do i need to go for one with different specs?). Im not that sure on whether i purely need more wattage, or a change in a different spec.
