PSU sleeving problem

I have never sleeved a PSU before and decided to start with the 8 pin + 4 extension cable that came with my Obsidian 800D. I popped a few out with a staple but i managed to yank a few out that were not ready to be removed leaving the pin inside and the wire in my hand.

This meant that i now could not possibly fit those two cables in the tiny pin, so i am sticking with only the 8pin.

I used needle nose pliers to put the single cables back in the pin, but i have a problem on the few pins that used to have 2 cables going in.

Even though i clamp the pin down tight around the now single cable, the wires pop out of the connector when it is attached to the motherboard. I am thinking of putting the wire back in the pin and using some kind of adhesive to stay put.

Do i continue to try and get those damn wires to stay in the pin? try and get another cable from corsair? or cry and do nothing :(

Replace the cable, or buy some more pins and a crimper and crimp on some new ones. Unless you repair the cable properly by replacing the pins, it is not safe to use.

Yes, please use a proper pin puller to remove the pins. Still though, its likely you will have 1 or 2 that will always be impossible to remove and will get stuck inside the ends and wires will pull out. You can get em out eventually with a needle nose or something but you'll still need new cable ends and a crimper to intall them properly. Always use the right tools!!!!
