I need a good PSU that I can put in my moms computer. I don't need a super power one, just one that will be reliable and work for a long time. It has and AMD processor, so the 12V connector that Intel utilizes isn't needed.

The computer has pretty basic, it has one HDD, 2 optical drives, and a floppy. Its not very powerful at all....its got an older Athlon XP. Hope this helps :D

you mean amd processor? what speed is it? what core? whats the other hardware she is using? need more info.
