Hey guys i am having some trouble with my rig for some reason it doesent want to turn on ive tryed changing the power wire with another one and made sure everything was securely in still nothing.... the computer doesent show any sign of turning on except for when i leave the wire out of the psu for more then a minute and then push it back in ... when i do this the lights turn on but then turn right back off. note that before all this happened everytime i would turn off my computer and try to turn it back on i would have to keep pressing the power button over and over and over and the faster i did it finnaly it would turn on.... lol.... well i tryed using the switch from the mobo to turn on the computer thats a no go... tryed changing the mobo battery that didint work either.... the mobo has the yellow light on showing that there is somthing coming through from the psu... also when i try to turn on the computer the psu fan turns on but then turns back off.... if anyone can help me pls i would appreciate it. im thinking its either the psu or maybe a short somewhere... heres my specs...

well i dunno if i could start the computer wit the psu on the floor i doubt the wires will reach to the ground.... can i starrt it on top of a cardboard box or somethin? would puttin the mobo on a cardbox also be a good way to test it?

Yes. Cardboard is fine. Anything non-conductive/non-metallic.

i tryed taking the mobo out and putting it carefully on a flat card board box same for the psu i left out the video cards and sound card so all it needed to power was the mobo cpu and ram... nothing happen i used the power botton from the mobo. Im starting to think the psu is bad what you guys think?

Read the articles I linked.

Pop out the RAM and try it. You don't need RAM at this juncture.

Did you ever jumper the PSU like I suggested? What was the result of that?
