Recently I bought myself a new graphics card (5770- to crossfire with my older one) and because I was actually missing the cables for my 700w Thermaltake modular power supply, I swapped it out for my older Antec 650w (Earthwatts I think) which I used to power the same system before.
Anyhow since doing all that the system runs perfectly stable except for whenever I try to wake it up from sleep, whenever I do, the lights inside the computer come on, the fans spin for about a second or two before it shuts itself down, then tries to power up again, but shuts down, and continues in that cycle. Only way to get around it is by turning off the power supply for a few seconds and back on before I can start my computer up.
Would this be a power supply problem (not enough power?) Seems to run perfectly fine at load and have no other issues.
I also have a Vertex 3 SSD, but I haven't hand any of the Sandforce drive problems I've heard about and otherwise the computer is stable.
Also I have an overclock on my C2D e6750 at 3.0GHz.
Specs:
C2D e6750
4 GB Corsair ram
2x AMD 5770
Gigabyte x38 DQ6
Antec Earthwatts 650w PSU
Vertex 3
320GB HD
