I am hoping to (Pre-)ordering the following system very soon, but am stuck on the PSU:

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream With Side-Window
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Retail
Zalman CNPS9500-LED
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA II
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800-XT 256MB
BenQ DW1655
3.5" Floppy Black
Logitech X-530 5.1
Logitech G15 / Saitek Eclipse
Akasa Rounded Floppy UV DAY-GLO Cable (0.45m) Blue
Akasa Serial ATA 45cm DAYGLO Blue Data Cable
Akasa Rounded Ultra ATA133/100/66 IDE UV DAY-GLO Cable (0.45m) Blue
Akasa Dual Blue Cold Cathodes
Akasa Dual UV Cold Cathodes

I am going with a blue theme in my case, with blue lighting and cables. I will not be overclocking initially, but may in the future, and would like a PSU that will last me for a while. In the future, I will probably upgrade to Crossfire or a better single GFX card, and then maybe a new processor further on.

The 3 PSU's in my price range I have come down to are:
1) Enermax Liberty 620W ELT620AWT Modular PSU - £90
2) Hiper HPU-4B580 Type R 580W Modular Blue - £65
3) Seasonic S12 600W Silent - £90
4) Tagan TG580-U15 580W Easycon SLi Modular Silent - £75

They are all crossfire/sli complaint and are not very loud, which are what I want.

I am leaning to the Hiper because it is much cheaper, modular, and all of the cables are UV blue sleeved, so would fit in perfectly in my case and cables. As it is quite cheap, I wouldnt mind selling it later on and then getting another PSU when needed and there is a wider range of sleeved modular PSU's.

I have heard many good reviews about the Seasonic. However, as it isnt modular and isnt sleeved, it looks quite ugly, which is quite a big deal for me :(

I have not heard much about the Endermax and Tagan PSU's, so these are what I am not sure about.

Can anybody recommend/persuade me on which would be the best for me, considering the price differences?

Many Thanks,
Sital

After reading up a lot about the hiper on these forums, I have decided against it

I have not heard much about the Tagan so I think I'll skip that aswell because it doesnt seem very popular.

That leaves me between the Endermax and the Seasonic. I read a few of those user opinions sites and there seem to be a lot of DOA Endermax's over a wide range of different stores, and their RMA procedure seems to be quite a hastle...

I think I have decided to go for the Seasonic because it is so powerful and yet so quiet and apparently their customer services for any problems are great. At least it should last me for a very long time. :)

I'll have to compensate the lack of modular connections by doing some serious cable management and hiding all the spare cables in the top drive bay and reversing the hard drive to hide the cables.

1) Is cable management ok in the Tsunami with a Seasonic S12? (Space, stifness of wires, etc)
2) Do you think I have made the right decision?

Many thanks,
Sital

EDIT: Just found out that a newer revision of the S12 was released in April, which now has more connections, longer cables, and they are now sleeved! :D

That has made my mind up and I will be going for the S12-600.
I could wait for the M12, but I have already waited long enough for intel core 2 to be released and I cant bear to wait any longer!
