Always heard about how great "trupower" series are,, well i was reading reviews on newegg and there were many bad reviews.. not good at all.. so Im confused and asking for help again

Im sure this has been talked to death, but no search function =/

I'll be running about 5-6 hard drives, 9800pro, p4 3.0 oc'ed to 3.4~3.6 and an optical drive

Most people post when they're unhappy. I imagine the vast majority of people own and run them without to many problems.

I've got one I've been using for years, along with several regular Antec PSU's, and none of them has failed yet. One even survived the wires in a case doing a meltdown (pwr on, hddled, reset just fried when I turned it on one day).

Wixard is right about the unhappy posts :) It's too bad people don't get excited enough to post about their successes all the time, BUT, a power supply is just suppose to WORK anyway, and not too many people are going to get excited about that. The Antec TruePower line has always done well for me... I run a True380 in my system at home... haven't had it for that long (~6 months), but no problems so far. PLUS, they're fairly quiet too.
