Hello! I bought an antec truepower 550w ESP +12v power suppy. I'm putting my PC together now. When I connect the main power connector, everything boots fine. When I connect the additional +12v connector, the computer beeps at me, and seems to go into some kind of stand-by mode. I'd love some help on this. Thanks!

I'm using

Antec TruePower 2.0 EPS12V 550W

Thanks for reading!

PS.
I'm making a post on this in the case modding forum. Just incase you guys don't catch it, the Tuniq Tower 120 does not fit in the Extremengine 3T (Yes, I found out the hard way).

There are three board power connections. The 24 pin, the 8 pin and a floppy connector between the GFX card socket and the CPU socket. You need all three of these connected.

If you've done this and still have problem:
Then disconnect power fron HDDs, Floppy, CD Drives, DVD Drives, case fans etc.
Try to get it to POST.

When it gets to one led, it's ready. Hook up equipment one piece at a time to find probable cause. Could wiring, PSU, or equip, so have fun.

I don't have my gfx card yet, so I don't see how connecting something to the 5v/12v connector located right by the pci-e socket would help, but I did that and I still get a few beeps and the system goes into a stand-by mode of sorts. I'm convinced the rest of my rig is hooked up fine, because when I just plug in the main power connector to the motherboard, everything turns on and runs fine. It's that darned +12v.
