PSA: Nvidia Mobo? Check your gigabit link! Mine was 100mb

Quick notice. Using W7, the nvidia nforce driver broke my gigabit ethernet and forced it to 100mb. Uninstalling the nforce ethernet driver caused the link to re-engage at 1000mb. After reverting the the MS driver, I was able to copy a file at over 100MB/sec, which is pretty damn good!

After a quick google search, it seems that this is a fairly common issue.

Both my on-board NICs are connected at gigabit as well as both of my Intel Pros on my nVidia board with latest drivers.
