Hello,

This is going to be my worklog for a custom paintjob proyect on my new case.
I hope to hear reccomendations as i go from everyone as this is my first paintjob ever, on anything...

I will be following pointers that i have recieved so far in this forum...

Without further ado lets begin...

You should be able to take the top off by drilling out the rivets. WHen you are done you would just need to put some new rivets in. Of course you need the tools to do this =)

Nah....
Just go to your local bolt store and get yeah some 1/8" stainless steel pan head cap screws, with the allen wrench head on it. A pan head screw is the screw that is rounded and looks much like the rivet. Then just get yeah some matching nylon lock nuts. It's easier to me and the screws hold better, it keeps me from having to buy a rivet gun. They are cheap to I got a lot of 50 SS screws, washers and nuts for around 4 bucks..........of course if you are going to paint it don't get stainless get either black oxide or galvanized.
