I have a large file/folder that I'd like to distribute via USB drive, but am concerned about people getting access and sharing it with others (using Windows XP/Vista/7). Is anyone aware of a setup where I have a single master password, and secondary single use passwords for transfer? Ideally, I'd give someone the single password, and it would become invalid after unmounting the drive.

Only way you can really do that is with software solution that each machine has to run...
Because the disk-based stuff obviously is easily breakable, outside of that you're probably looking at TPM or something similar. But it either has to contact a server to see if that password is valid anymore (requires the client to run software) or it has to modify its own internal database (requires client to run software) to change the allowed passwords.

Simply, I don't think what you want exists outside of a software solution.
