so any idea's thoughts lemme kno what u think.

pics were taken with Tmobile dash so excuse the quality thx

actually i won them off ebay for like 2.99.

turns out i figured out how to mount the hd. i disassembled and old cd drive. mounted the HDD on some motherboard standoffs and used the top shell of the cd drive as a tray.
will get some pics of that today.

now gotta get some modders mesh and a handle for the door.

anyone kno if there is a specific company that makes the absolute brightest uv lights?

thinking about changin th color of the liquid to green or blue. wish i could get orange but seems a hard color to reproduce how ever the contrast of orange on black would look really good

The trick is to use 4" CFL's rather than 12" ones. They throw about the same amount of light, just more concentrated.

But if you want something SUPER powerful... Pick up a cheap 15w blacklight 18" tube from home depot, and a cheap fixture. You can easily cannibalize this, to make it much smaller, and hide it somewhere. 15w of UV light will be about 16x brighter than a regular 12" cfl :)

dude great idea thanks.

was thinkin of the 4in route have some 4in ultra whites and they really light things up .

yea ima check that out this weekend only thing is cant go that long. case is about 14-16in deep .

ima check out home depot at lunch see what i can dig up. thanx again

Wow it has been a long time since I sold that case.

Looks allot different now.

yea i figured you'd check it out. still a wip tho. debating getting a dual bay res. since i mutilated the original. drive bay covers. jus wish i could order them from YY would make life 10x easier

Directron Still sells the YY Cube maybe they have spare parts for that case (Couldn't hurt to contact them any way)

YY Cube

actually i checked both directron and yy directly im gonna try and email yy see what i end up with. if nothing im just gonna make somethin with modders mesh. i have to make a grill or 2 anyhow and i feel the board side is in seriousneed of airflow kinda warm on that side,

Antec TruePowers will explode, eat your dog, barbeque the contents of your koi pond, crap on your rug, and probably cause baby Jesus to cry. And believe you me, we don't want that.

Exaggerate a bit?

Only a little. I did have 2 original and 2 TP 2.0s die spectacularly under mild to moderate load (500 and 550 watt supplies powering an Athlon 64 3500+, Radeon X800XT, 1GB RAM, 2 opticals, 2 hdds) in well airconditioned rooms.

Lost a hard drive, a motherboard, a processor and an optical drive to them by the time it was all said and done. I stick by my usual statement: Antec can't be trusted with anything but cases.

dude ive had this psu for 5 years has powered many oc'ed rigs.

last one consisted of a dfi lanparty 875pro rev b 1gb mushkin ddr500 and 3.2e @ 4ghz on air w/cpn9500 and powered a dvdrw 160gb sata and 7800gs oc AGP card.

ran like that for about a year. problem is with the internal fans they are a 60mm and a 80mm they tend to get crusted up with dust and over heat the psu. ive actually recently replaced these and she still is chuggin along. system is currently @ 3.6
(45c temps *its really warm in here)stressing and will go higher after occt completes.

i am pretty anal about dust build up as i have fried things for being careless. so i always dust my systems thuroughly every couple of months

update stressing @ 4ghz

edit: well cause this is a S3 istead of a DS3 i cant control mem timings in bios so thefore 4ghz seems to be only achievable with this memory in windows with memset

well things came up gotta scratch the project was nice to finally get it watercooled
