Program for export flac to mp3 player?

Hey all,
I was wondering if there's a program that can take all my flac files (and hq mp3s) and transcode them down to 160 or so mp3s to go on my portable player. I have two: an mp3 cd player and a flash-type player. Basically, I'd like a drag-n-drop type interface, so I can select a set of songs and have them exported as fast as it'll go. If it caches the results for later, that's cool, but not necessary.

I think the FLAC encoder GUI did this, maybe it was CDex or EAC I used though. It's on my other computer, and it's down pending a new CPU.
 
Foobar2000.

Load 'em all up in a playlist, highlight, right click, convert. Use LAME with --alt preset standard.

Don't transcode your "HQ MP3s". It'll sound crappy. Try it and see.
 
Jeez, you guys are quick. Thanks for the help. I hadn't played with foobar before.

My portable player is pretty cheap, so I can't really tell the difference on it unless it's badly done 128k mp3s: even EAC sourced music sounds the same as 192k mp3s, while I can definitely tell the difference on my computer. No money = no quality tho, so I guess I'm stuck for the moment.
 
Doh, he's right, foobar. I just started using FLAC (and foobar) in the last 2-3 months so I still remember it pretty visually.
