i'm having a problem with the 3 1/2in bays on this chieftec case.

its the chieftec 601 w/the fullsize window.

ok so i go to put in my 3 1/2 floppy today and nomatter how i line up the screws it leaves a space between the case and the drive.

ok lets say i had the front pannel open and i was looking directly at my floppy drive, i can see right into the case! theres a space thats not soposed to be there, its not a very big space but i can see clearly to the back of my case though it.

its not the floppy, cause its just your standard Mitsumi 3 1/2in 1.44MB and it was out of my friends gateway.

Anyone else had problems lining up things w/these drive bays ?! cause i've had a few.

it can't be...all floppys are created equal from what i know

3 1/2 in floppy for a 3 1/2 in bay...

+ its made by mitsumi, a well known company for floppy drives.

i KNOW its the case

Try swapping the drive cage with the lower one, and make sure its pushed in all the way. I've seen a few times where the drive cage has to be removed, then put back in for it to seat right.
