I just recently got my new system:
AMD Socket 939 3000+
MSI K8N Neo-2 Platinum
BFG 6800 OC
1 GB(2x 512 Corsair Value Ram)
Lite-on 16x DVD burner
Sony DVD-ROM drive.
Seagate 7200 RPM 120 Gb HD
Some cheap 450 watt psu

Anyways, heres the problem. When i play CS:S(havent tried any other games yet) Every few minutes, everything just stops on the screen, no sound either. Then everying comes back(and generally im already dead by then  ) ALso, when i come back, on the side it shows the icons of all the weapons and stuff im carriying(looks the same as when im picking them up.) My internet is Verizon DSL. i previsouly had comcast cable, which i liked much more. I cant tell if its my internet or something with my comp, because my mom switched internets at the same time i got my new comp. Thanks for anything.

ive got the same stuttering problem too, with a 6800 i just bought.
it only happens when i join the server though, so i dont die but its pretty annoying.
i fixed it by goin back to stock settings and not ocing the card.

i wish it helped, as im not doing anyting to get my card going faster, or any part of my system for that matter. I have a strong feeling its something with memory now though. I was playing cs again just now, and i got an error message with some numbers and saying that the memory could not be "read" This caused cs: s to shut down. Any suggestions?

Whoops, you must have been reading my sig. I havent updated that yet. The memory is runningat stock timings. Ive figured out im just gonna RMA it. Hopefully, ill get a brand new package of memory, and be off with all these problems. Thanks for everything.
