ok i got this mouse about 3 months ago, i absolutely LOVE it, its so comfortable, perfect weight, battery lasts a long time, but now that its getting a little used i found one large problem. like the old models when i set the mouse in the craddle and move it around for 5 minutes i STILL cant get it to charge, now this wasnt as big of a problem with the older models because u could just use a battery charger and switch out the batteries whenever they got low, but with the MX1000 u can do that since the battery pack is built into the mouse itself. i have tried cleaning the contacts and making sure there is nothing in the craddle to keep the mouse from sitting all the way down but nothing helps, i have tried to charge this damn mouse for the past 4 days but can never get the damn thing to start charging so i give up. any suggestions on what to do?

It sounds like somethings wrong with it.

Take it back. Get a return. RMA it.

And, for the no-battery-packs issue, simply buy two MX1000's and when one gets low, charge it while you're using the second one. :D

Try cleaning off the contacts on the bottom of the mouse, they have picked up a lot of dust from continued use and it could be interfering with the electrical connection.

ok i appologize to logitech for jumping to conclusions, lol. turns out the damn craddle got unplugged! i didnt think the mouse would work without it it being plugged in so i didnt even think that could be the problem. so anyways, if anyone else is having problems like this, make sure to check your power cord, hehehe.
