Hey guys.
I've got a slight problem. At the moment, I have a set of 5.1 Logitech Speakers that are about 2 - 3 years old. Up until I got my 360, They were just plugged into my PC, and into a Creative Audigy 2 soundcard.
Heres the problem. I've got my 360 hooked up using a VGA cable into my LCD monitor, and it's also plugged into the Line-in on my soundcard, so that I don't have to mess around unplugging cables and the like. The only thing is, my PC has to be switched on in order to get any sound from my 360. Obviously this is a bit of an annoyance, as it's not the quietest thing in the world.
My question is this. Is there anyway I can plug into my Line-in for my 360, and still get sound without having the PC switched on? Or would it be worth investing in a set of surround speakers that have an optical input and still have the standard PC output as well?
If the second option is more the case, can anyone point me in the direction I should be looking?
Thanks in advance.
