Problems using overclock guide

I've been reading Eclipse's overclocking guide at http://eclipseoc.com/index.php?id=6,9,0,0,1,0
and had a few questions.

In the first step, for determining your max HTT, I'm having some problems. I have ClockGen and Prime95, but while I'm in Clockgen's PLL Control, when I move my FSB up 3 mhz and click "Apply Selection", it just resets itself back down to the original FSB speed (200mhz) and the Clock window doesn't show any signs of any of the clockspeeds changing at all.

Another problem I have in that first part is that I can't figure out how to set the HT link multi = 3x. All I have in the BIOS of my A8V Deluxe is the HT link speed. I can set it to 1000mhz, 800mhz, 600mhz, 400mhz, or 200mhz. I currently have it set to 200mhz with my CPU multi at 5x, giving me a CPU speed of 1000mhz. There is no HT link multi that I can find, so what should I be setting my HT Link speed to or what should I even do for this part?

It's almost like something is locked somewhere and I cannot move the FSB up any farther. It IS supposed to be starting at 200mhz still, right?

Thanks for your help!

Hmm... same thing for part 2. When I set my CPU multi back up to 11x I still can't adjust my FSB using Clockgen. Still does the "reset" thing when I click "Apply Selection" after boosting it up 3 mhz. What's going on here?

Also, I decided to move my HT Link Speed up to 600mhz because 3 x 200mhz(FSB) is 600. That was the best idea I could come up with to use the 3x HT multiplier...

I'm running an A8V Deluxe mobo (rev 1017 BIOS) with a 3500+ Newcastle, if that makes a difference to anybody.

I thought the best way to OC was through BIOS, but Eclipse is the master and he would be the one to ask.
