Problems Reformatting...with Windows XP

I am getting this error message on my Toshiba Laptop:

STOP: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF76450BF, 0xF7A91208, 0xF7A90F08)

The original formatting was done with Toshiba original disk, which I don't have. I start the reformat process then it gos into the blue screen of death. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. P.M. would be preferred.
