Problems oc'ing 939 fx53 with neo2 platinum

I have the following

fx53 w/thermalright xp-120 &120mm delta
neo 2 platinum
2x512 corsair c2pt
120gb seagate sata hdd
6800 ultra
Antec truepower 550

I can overclock to a 215fsb with no problem at all but if i go to 216 (2592mhz). or above the computer wont post. I even had to clear the cmos once. 216 isnt very high at all so there must be somethign im neglecting here....this is where you come in hopefully

cpu voltage: Stock all the way to 1.65 still nothing
vdimm v: 2.85
timings: 2.5-3-3-10
spread spectrum off
agp/pci locked (port 3)
etc etc.

With what i have what would make it suddenly stop working at 216 fsb. Is there a setting i am leaving out or something i am doing wrong? I know the rami have isnt the best overclocker but im only going to a 215 fsb so that shouldnt be a problem yet....nor would 1mhz make or break the chances of getting to post. Oh and for some reason even though the mobo has the cpu ratio option and the cpu i have is unlocked anytime i try to change the ratio it forces me to clear the cmos....WTH?

Try lowering your HT to 800. It could also be your RAM if you have the 2T command set to disabled wich would force it to 1T. Try setting it to AUTO or enabled.
