Problem with TV Tuner audio

Currently, my onboard sound and TV Wonder VE are linked through a splitter. When I fire up ATI MMC 9.0, the volume coming out through the TV tuner is really soft and isn't audible unless I put my master volume up the whole way.

What gives?
 
Plug in your TV Wonder to either the line in or the microphone. Then turn those up. It will keep the tv nice and loud but also leave the rest of your system quiet.
