I have emachines m6805. I downloaded OD version 2.5.97a and installed it but now when I play a game it crashes. In the control set up the "Advance 3D TAB" is not working.

There was an option when I installed it saying something about Fast Write ON or OFF.

I think I choose the ON option because is said to choose that if you had AMD 64.

Any advice?

You can also use the fastwrites OFF option as well. I've got the Gateway variant of that machine and I've not noticed an appreciable impact on performance either way.

Close ATI Tray Tools that's running in the background. It'd cause my games to crash after opening them.

Everything stock I ran 8628 on 3dmarks01

Just with the new omega drivers I got 9881 using the same 3dmarks01.

How good or bad is that?

That score for 3dMark2001 is pretty darn low if you plan on doing any gaming. I don't really know too much about e-machine models but do you have some specs on that system?
