I orginally thought the problem was with my monitor and couldn't try another monitor since I was at college. Once I got home I tried a new monitor and too my dissapointment I'm still have problems. I'll explain the problem, everything that looks grey has a greenish tint and very bad quality, along with any video I watch. ( As there are a lot of shades of greys in most, and it hurts the quality of the picture tremendously.) For example, my steam login in a teal/dark green instead of the standard grey. I've tried reinstalling drivers to no avail. I think its the videocard, just want to see what you guys think. Its a recently new computer ( one year old ) bought from Ibuypower. I don't want to shell out new $$ for a videocard. Oh yeah I have never overclocked it ethier.

anyone know what could be causing this? is it for sure the videocard is basically what i'm asking.

Did you re-install drivers using driver cleaner etc. ? Contact ati as well.

If you have access to another video card (borrow one from a friend) see if that makes a difference. If it does make a difference, your card is toast. If it does not make a difference, either your MOBO is bad, or Windows is corrupted. If it does not make a difference, test your card in another computer if possible. You need to exhaust every possibility. Also, if the video card is toasted, contact the manufacturer to see if you can RMA it. A few years ago I had a toasted card laying on a shelf for over a year, I contacted the manufacturer and they RMA'ed it for me.
