Problem with my print setup

I recently purchased a Brother MFC 9340 printer. It is an amazing printer. But there is a one slight issue. When the printer is switched on, initially it takes so much voltage, that my UPS beeps. Even when the print process is taking place, the UPS beeps. Where the LCD of the UPS shows full voltage bar.

Mine is APC 1KVA Pro UPS, which can take load upto 600W. The maximum power consumption of the printer is 375W. So why does it beep?

Is this a manufacturing defect? Will it create future problem with the printer or the UPS? The UPS is brand new. I connected the printer with battery backup, not the surge protection. The only other device connected with the UPS is a Wireless bridge, which I don't think should take more than 10W.
 
Laser printers shouldn't be connected to UPSs for that very reason. The instructions for my older APC UPS even stated to not connect laser printers to them. Your UPS is consumer grade and it's rating is somewhat fluffed. The 600W is the very maximum it will deliver for a very short amount of time. If you must connect it to a UPS, get something rated higher and not consumer level. Those APCs tend to have low life expectancy. The control board will go bad before the battery does.

My laser printer is the only thing I don't have connected to a UPS. And I use Enterprise grade rackmount units.

Thanks for the suggestion, I changed the printer lead from battery backup to surge protection and noticed that the beep sound is gone. So no more beep sound while booting or printing. Is it safe now?

The reason I specially purchased this 1KVA UPS for this printer is to keep it safe from voltage fluctuations.

But this is surprising that my old 800VA UPS can take the load of my signature rig which is 650W PSU, Corsair Sp2500 speakers and the display, which I presume consume more power than my LED printer when it prints (375W against 650W of PSU + Display + Speakers) and this 1KVA UPS cannot take the load of just 375W.

your rig doesn't pull anywhere near 650watt from the wall.
my i7 3770k Rig in my sig pulls less than 400watt at full load,

The UPS powers the tower, speakers, monitors, cable modem, router, and switches.
My Xbox 360, and my HTPC machine are also connected to the UPS.
 
I forgot to mention that the surge protection is not a separate switch, I just swapped the printer from battery back up to the surge protection within the UPS. I thought that APC UPS are the best in the world
