Problem with MX700

I have a Logitech MX Duo. The MX700 gives me three problems. The first one is that the mouse sometimes doesn't respond after my rig boots into Windows XP. Sometimes, I'll have to reboot the computer three times before the mouse would work. The second one is that the cursor jumps sometimes as if the optical sensor isn't tracking movements properly. I have changed to a 3M optical pad and the problem persists. The last one is that it doesn't track small movements well. This makes playing FPS's quite difficult. Do you guys think I've got a dead mouse? Or is it possible that my o/c'ed FSB is messing up the PS/2 port, the transceiver, and hence the mouse?

Thanks for any help.
