I just got my computer back after months of it being in storage from a military move. They packed the thing horribly... they put it in a box that was just big enough to fit the main case.. not taking into account the knobs from the fan controller on the front and the fan I had mounted on the back of the case. It was also just in a box with other stuff... very poorly packed. It's supposed to go in a special made box with red tape so they know to handle it better. For some reason they let the new guy who seemed to only understand russian pack up my office.
The fan on the back was just dangling when I opened the box, the top fan had two missing screws and was hanging in the case, one of the lights I had mounted was hanging loose in the case as well as the radiator for the h60.
Now my second gpu sometimes doesn't want to be detected.. I have narrowed it down to being only one of the gpu's. If I disconnect and re connect it, it detects just fine until the computer goes to sleep and it can no longer detect it again.
I am thinking it must be the hardware in this one gpu... the other gpu works every time no matter which slot or which plugs I use with it. But perhaps I'm wrong and someone here knows what's going on.
If it is broken then the military will have to pay for it to be replaced and I could probably get a better card. But honestly, I would just like it to work right now.
