I was just diddling around just now, and happened to open F@H. What I saw was this:
unhappy_mage_something_wrong.jpg

Is this normal? Notice that the molecule is not "continuous" - the parts aren't all connected. Is this just an unusual unit and I should expect this once in a while? Please note that my system is prime-stable for 3 days and temps with prime running are only 38. My system (if it matters) is a p4 2.4c at 3.0, 512 corsair 3200LL, and a dfi lanparty 875. I haven't had any stability problems in the past except at higher speeds than this.

The bits you see floating around the main molecule is acetonitrile, CH3CN
Its the solvent the protien is folding in.
Hence p266_ch3cn as the name.

Luck........... :D

okay, thanks. rj and I will be adding a bunch more machines within the month hopefully. i just have to make sure the script is secure and doesn't give away access, and update the squidGuard conf to let folding thru all the time.

This thread makes me glad that I fold for the [H]orde. We have members that actually know the IUPAC naming system. :D
